Class act, RT. Saw him live in San Diego once and his guitar went silent mid-song. He tried a couple quick things with his cord and pedals but the Strat was dead. Tech raced out and replaced the guitar. That one only worked for a moment - so it was something else in the signal chain. A volatile prima donna star might've thrown a little tantrum (or even a guitar). Richard danced comically, with a huge grin and apologetic shrugs while the band played on. They got him sorted out between songs and he carried on like the pro he is.
Very refreshing after Eric Burdon's gloomy set peppered with 3-4 f-bombs in the chatter between every song. Last edited by tinnitus; 04-02-2020 at 05:43 PM.
