Class act, RT. Saw him live in San Diego once and his guitar went silent mid-song. He tried a couple quick things with his cord and pedals but the Strat was dead. Tech raced out and replaced the guitar. That one only worked for a moment - so it was something else in the signal chain. A volatile prima donna star might've thrown a little tantrum (or even a guitar). Richard danced comically, with a huge grin and apologetic shrugs while the band played on. They got him sorted out between songs and he carried on like the pro he is.
