Default Yam. FG-300 - Just My G&B Strings Create Buzz?

My new to me FG300, has a problem I can't suss out. There is a distinct "rattle/buzz" coming from the G and B string. The buzz varies with how hard the string is plucked. Fretting around 3 or 4 makes it more obvious.

What I have done:

1. New strings. Old were 11s, new are 13s.

2. Set the action towards high. It doesn't seem to be fret related buzz.

3. Made sure I plucked perfectly parallel to the body to be sure it wasn't contacting frets.

4. I've tapped all around the body and detect no buzz by tapping. I've looked pretty darn close for any cracks - none seen.

SUSPICIOUS: Looking carefully at the pick guard, I see some glue lines, and tiny glue drips. It would appear the P.G. was lifted/replaced at some time.

Could the P.G. be buzzing at just the right frequency of the G&B strings? I don't notice buzzing on the E, A, D.

Ideas?
