Default Music theory lesson and Videos

Hi guys,
I would like to learn much more about music theory for guitar, something that I can find on internet. Of course I play an acoustic guitar, so I need some texbooks write very well, do you know anything about it? Or if you have suggestions for an author or a specific book it will be great!
Same thing with the videos!

A book I have recently bought is quite comprehensive in content. Although essentially for classical guitar, covers quite a lot and cajoles you into using notation as well as tablature. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but for myself has been a worthwhile purchase.

Hope the above can be of some help, there is a plethora of video's on You Tube, just type in 'music theory'.

Do you know anything about open tunes? I play some songs by Led Zeppelin as "that's the way" or "Rain song" but although I can play them with Tab I don't understand as Jimmy Page has succeeded in creating those songs!

You can simply place "music theory for guitar" in a search engine and find numerous videos and websites.

I find Andrew Wasson to be very good at this sort of lesson; http://andrewwasson.com/

"I play some songs by Led Zeppelin as 'that's the way' or 'Rain song' but although I can play them with Tab I don't understand as Jimmy Page has succeeded in creating those songs!"

What are you not understanding? The way the song is structured? Or, the technicalities of how it is fingered and picked?

I did no researches on these songs... what do you suggest me about improvisation? After the comments on my song I'd really like to learn all about guitar's improvisation. For those that know this field, how could I arrange a plan of study?
