Smile Want to learn country rhythm

Any know of any good books or websites that teach good country rhythm guitar?I play pretty good rock and blues rhythm,but lacking in playing country rhythm,seems i just cant get it right.Anyone know of something that could help me?

Look for Doug Seven on the web. Great country pickin and rhythm teacher. Some free but mostly packages. I think his site is

BanjoBen Clark's video series on Guitar Rhythm is really good imo. You have to join to see the whole session tho. The series of about 8 videos breaks down a bluegrass style rhythm that works nice slowed down or sped up. I took a month membership for $20 while first learning to play mandolin and spent most of my time on the guitar rhythm bit.

For me it was an easy and effective way to learn something I've always struggled with. Took me about 2 weeks and an hour or so a day to get it down. YMMV

Default still cant get it right

i checked out all the free lessons online and still cant get it right,think i will take a few lessons,maybe that will do it.

You spent less than a week looking at all the on line lessons and you still don't get it?


How many "country rhythms" do you think there are?
