Default **SOLD**. R TAYLOR Style 2 EIR and Bear Claw Sitka

For sale is a beautiful 2008 R Taylor Style 2

There are slight swirls from being carefully played.

The neck is a slim-carve, tropical mahogany neck, extremely comfortable.

Spec's are standard Style 2: 1 3/4" nut, 24.9" scale length, 2.25" string spacing at bridge, 15 inch lower bout width, 4.25" deep at end pin, ebony fingerboard and binding, 4 mm abalone fretboard dot markers, and ultra smooth and precise brushed gold Gotoh 510 tuners. ES 1.3 electronics.

Condition is outstanding - no dings/chips/cracks anywhere. Only flaw is a slight separation in the binding at the bottom back of the guitar, see picture.

Almost no sign of use, and very little fret wear

$SOLD including Paypal and CONUS shipping. No trades please, only selling to make some room.

Thanks
Rob

Smile This was mine...

I was the original owner and commissioned this at the RT shop adjacent the huge Taylor campus in El Cajon.

Three bits of info to add. The neck is indeed an RT Slim Carve, so a mm or so less deep than their standard carve. Very similar to Taylor"s mid 90s pre NT neck shape.

The ab dots were my request, and do make jamming easier for your pals! Or you if they are playing yours! Haha

The pup was upgraded at Taylor to the ES 1.3 which for my money is the best of ALL the different ES pups.
Even Taylor literature says it is the closest to a high quality condenser mic. And last I heard you could still order a new axe with the ES 1.3.

Also, the bearclaw on this suoer Sitka is quite striking indeed. And the EIR is really impressive too!

This puppy is LOUD, and has a fat tone too.

I added the custom Bone bridge pins for a bit more tone... plus they look cool.

Screaming Deal on this! I am way overloaded or I would be tempted.... must resist...

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Paul

Wow. I did not know this guitar had Guitars44me's DNA on it.

Better hurry before I raise the price.

Default DNA?

Well Rob,

I guess you might find a fingerprint or two of mine on this guitar. Which by the way is all that.

Great deal for this guitar.

I am not sure if it was Paul’s DNA or Alan’s fingerprint but this baby is sold.

Thanks guys.
