Default ***SOLD*** 2014 Fender FSR MIM Telecaster

2014 FSR (Fender Special Reserve) MIM Telecaster.

This is a great instrument! I took a stock model and had the following customizations professionally done by Jake Tuel at Burning River Guitars:
  • Swapped out stock pick-ups with Fender Vintage '52 re-issues
  • Replaced the reversed Control Plate with a standard one
  • Replaced the cheap 1-ply pickguard with a Bakelite guard
  • Had the neck sprayed with an aging toner to give it a more vintage vibe.

Otherwise the specs are as follows:
  • Model Name: FSR Standard Telecaster (Butterscotch Blonde)
  • Model Number: 014-0112-(550)
  • Body: Ash
  • Neck: 1-Piece Maple, Modern “C” Shape, (Tinted Gloss Urethane Finish)
  • Fingerboard: Maple, 9.5” Radius (241 mm)
  • No. of Frets: 21 Medium Jumbo
  • Scale Length: 25.5” (648 mm)
  • Width @ Nut: 1.650” (42 mm)
  • Hardware: Chrome
  • Bridge: Vintage Style 3-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele Bridge
  • Pickup Switching: 3-Position Blade:
  • Position 1. Bridge Pickup
  • Position 2. Bridge and Neck Pickups
  • Position 3. Neck Pickup
  • Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone
  • Colors: (550) Butterscotch Blonde, (Polyester Finish)
  • Unique Features: Black Dot Position Inlays, Vintage Styling
  • Source: Mexico
  • Accessories: Aftermarket Road Runner hardshell case

The guitar is in excellent condition, has the classic vintage Tele tone, and when you consider the mods, is basically an American Standard Tele. Asking price includes a hardshell case (in very good condition, but missing the key), free shipping within the CONUS (east of Mississippi), and associated Paypal fees. Not interested in any trades...thanks for looking!

Weird, I did almost all the same stuff to my FSR MIM Tele... folks, this is a killer deal. The sound of a 52 reissue with the playability of a modern neck... that's a lot of guitar for that price.
