There is one text right now offering to trade an iPad for my Taylor T5. I kinda want a newer iPad, but don't know enough about the models & specs to judge its value. When my wife (the IT department) gets back in town I might have her check it out for me. If interested, I will call instead of responding to the text, just on principle.

Fair enough. In my job, calls and texts can be an annoyance, so the emails can be managed on my own time table. Personal preferences, just like guitars.

I've had the same problem on Ebay. Someone on AGF ended up buying the guitar. They never did respond to my questions.

I like the idea that others have said that if you have to force someone to take your money, I'd not bother.

However, if you really want to give it a try, post your own Craigslist ad.

If the original ad says this in the title:

1997 Martin D28 w/factory hardshell case

Then start an ad that looks like this:

Re: 1997 Martin D28 w/factory hardshell case

Then in the item description, state that you have emailed a couple of times and for them to check their spam folder.

Worth a shot!
