Default Crossing Crystal Lake ‘lectrically!

From my very first CD of the same title, this was the first composition I was able to play cross-tuned in open D tuning. I’m capoed 2, so open E, but playing off the V chord, so key of B. Still getting the hang of volume & tone as it relates to playing into my Shure MV88, but nothing ventured, etc.

Thanks Howard for sharing this. It's impact is somewhat different than your acoustic "Crossing Crystal Lake"
recording (one of my favorites guitar recordings ever) where the notes flow into each other perfectly and
soothingly, but still a great tune to hear.

That was very cool, Howard!

Lovely to hear your early composition on electric guitar! Really enjoyable! Great job on this!

If that is Crossing Crystal Lake ‘lectrically, I like your outboard motor: a Tele with Charlie Christian pickups. Fascinating. What's the amp?

Hey Bob,
I’m using a Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue with a 70’s JBL D123 speaker.

Glad you like the hardware!
