I have a 73 Hardtail Oly White staggered pickup Strat that I love.
I have had it since 1978. I took it to Torres Engineering in the early 80's wanting to add tremolo. I bought some other amp stuff from him around those times. He counseled me back then not to do it. Said he wouldn't do that for me nor give me the name of any techs that might... This was before they were making all the various levels of Stratocasters..He even said to just get a tremolo Mighty Mite Body..and swap it out if you want to try it. Im glad I didnt. I love that hardtail. It does have value although I'd never sell it. Now you have SOO many options for a decent in expensive trem Strat... come on... buy a $300.00 mexi Strat and have fun.. I did recently..
