Lisa, do you find that the composites hold tune better than nylon? If so, it'd be worth it just for that feature.

I think the composites do hold tune better, and they just plain sound better. Significantly better. Worth every cent.

Nylon treble strings go sharp as they warm up. If you are in tune when you start playing, within a few minutes of play, they'll be a bit sharp. The carbon strings do not do that, nor do the wound bass strings. Generally, after the carbon strings settle in, usually about a week, they will stay in tune pretty closely.
