Default Top 20 Intros

Rick Beato's videos are highly informative and entertaining. This one though, was made for this forum. So, do you agree or disagree? How many of these are in your repertoire? Not that I play like Rick, but I was surprised that I noodle around on several.

That was great, very enjoyable but I think I would have had some Neil Young in there somewhere.

Yep. Jethro Tull not making the list is odd too.

Anytime I hear Roundabout, I also think of ELP’s From the Beginning.

Me thinks this one has been duplicated. Perhaps one of the tech savvy moderators could combine them? And I'm in agreement on Neil Young or several others, but I like do like his choices. I had the pleasure of seeing Nancy Wilson up close perform Crazy on You live and in her prime. It was almost surreal!

That is great. A lot of the time he does videos on songs I don't know or particularly care for, but he is so good at this stuff.

That said, how does Alvin Lee "Id Love to Change the World" not belong on there? Though maybe it is too close to playing through the chords, which he says at the beginning does not count.

And how about Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" on the twelve string.

A few of my favorites missing:

The Boxer - Simon & Garfunkel
Ventura Highway - America
Guinnevere - CSN
El Paso - Marty Robbins (Grady Martin)
If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - CSN
Walk Right In - Rooftop Singers
A World of Our Own - Seekers
Love Alive - Heart
Oh Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison
Dance With Me - Orleans

Yeah, a couple use electric for doubling/harmony/counterpoint, but hey...

Those are good Steve.
With Neil Young I was thinking 'Old Man' and/or 'The Needle And The Damage Done'.

Yeah I'm not sure what the distinction is between Landslide and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You or Stairway to Heaven, but far be it for me to question Rick! He's forgotten more on the subject than I'll ever know.

I second Old Man by Neil Young and was waiting on Sister Golden Hair for at least an honorable mention.

I'd also give Eric Clapton's acoustic Layla some love as well.

That and/or Tesla's Love Song. Seemed to skip the 80's for the most part.

The choices are good, but what I really like is that Gibson he's playing!

Is there a list? I have no patience for Beato videos...

Please tell me Solsbury Hill was on there?

Love Alive by Heart is such an underappreciated tune.
