Default Timeless

Timeless (an original).

I don't know if this is any good musically. It's hard to be completely objective when listening to something self composed. A cover either sounds like the original or it doesn't. It was entertaining though to put it together. I can do a better recording I'm sure, but as this is more of an excursion into alternative tuning composing I'll put up this slightly drafty version

Guitar : Avalon

Tuning: CGCGCD, capo 2

Gear : Zoom H5, external mics (MLX 990; Rodes NT5)

DAWS: Audition and Audacity

I like that, Barry! I can see why this appeals to you -- it appeals to me, too!

Very nice and very catchy!

Thanks Bruce. The more I play it, the more I like it. There's more in the tank as far as playing it better too. I'll give it some time and re-record it, and replace the file online. I recorded it in 4 parts, not due to difficulty but because now we have a 1 year old dachshund living with us as well as our mini schnauzer. It gets pretty comical and noisy at times so moments of silence in our house can be a rarity When I record it again I will do it in two or at most three sections with better flow.

Barry.....I really enjoyed this one. I've played it several times now since you posted it....excellent. Really like the change up at 1:01 to 1:17 that you insert in there.
Congrats on the new dog!! Had a mini years ago..........they do bark at most anything!

So pretty. Sounds vaguely medieval.
