Default Second guitar

Been playing my Yamaha FG700ms for 10 years now (still sounds amazing) but it's time to buy my second acoustic. I don't gig but play alot with friends and record alot. I live in a small town in Sweden with one guitar shop so to find a nice guitar is not easy.

However i've been playing some nice acoustics when i've been out of town.

Gibson J-45 is the best sounding guitar i've played, Martin D28 second (for reference).

Budget is ~10.000 SEK wich are ~1000 USD.

I play everything from blues/folk/pop/rock to musicals and would like a guitar who is versatile.

It's sad to say but i will most likely order from Thomann or try to find a decent priced Gibson/Martin used.

The guitars from Thomann that have catched my eye are:
Gibson G-45 Studio
Taylor 110CE
Guild D-150CE
Yamaha Transacoustic LL-TA
Epiphone Masterbilt Texan (only by looks 10/10, no clue how it sounds)

What are your thoughts based on that list? Any other recommendations on quality guitars in that price range?

Peace and love!

It might be worth checking out some UK sellers like Guitar Guitar. I don’t know if they ship outside the UK unfortunately but I was speaking to a German person on here and their prices were much better at the current exchange rate than Thomann.

Took a quick look at the Gibson G-45.

Thomann = 9 599 SEK
Guitar Guitar = 10 791 SEK

Eastman makes the E10ss. I would for sure try the Eastman options before you buy anything. Eastmans are extreme high value per $ at around 1000$

Fair enough, we were looking at Martins if I recall correctly.
