Is a USB condenser a decent choice for someone who want to record acoustic guitar casually on the comp?

thanks,

A USB Mic will do an adequate job for you. If you want to improve the quality of what you are recording then an interface with mics is a better choice.

For a "pop-up and record" option, a USB mic can work well for you. Unfortunately, there are usually compromises because the microphone, preamp, and converter are all wrapped up in unit. If you broke all those out into different components, logically you would have a better signal chain.
