Thumbs up Journey's End

Hi folks! I recently released an album of 21 traditional Scots and Irish folk tunes on bandcamp for solo acoustic guitar.
Lots of medley tracks and some tracks have a piano and bass backing.
I had great fun recording these tunes. Wore down my nails 4 times and ended up using acrylics... again!

2.Return To Kintail/Calliope House/The Humors of Tulla

4.Celtic Air: The Willow Tree

Default "Ascension"

Hey ya'll! I had the opportunity a to work with some great musicians on my last recording. I took a break from my singer/songwriter material and recorded this instrumental. All of the compositions are original...some standard tuning and some alternate tuning. I used a couple different guitars including my Artisan and CX models. Most notably, fretless bass virtuoso Michael Manring played on three tracks...."Book of Tears", "Moonlite", "Ascension". He did a killer solo at the end of "Book of Tears". Jim Medlin, band leader of Martina McBride, did a wonderful job on the string arrangements as well as performing flawlessly on the piano. The project's Executive Producer is Emmy Award wining composer Michael Whalen. I am thankful for this amazing experience. I am hopeful to release another vocal recording soon...If I can get caught up in the shop!
