Thst’s Right. GC does not take responsibility for assuring the item you purchased from them and that they ship to you is actually delivered to you. Even though the shipper will only provide certain details of any non-received or damage claim to them. Ask me how I know.

Certainly a first-world complaint about...a first-world problem...or non-problem.

Well, I never say never about anything or anyone.

After a girlfriend dumped me when I went to boot camp, I was done wit her. A year later, however I got back with her, even got engaged to her. But when she then married someone else . . . . OK well, then I was done with her.

At Guitar Center, the problem is sometimes that they are lazy and don't really care on the shipping end of the transaction, which is terrible but sadly true in some cases...or...sometimes by the time your order is processed at the store you bought it from, and sent back to the shipping department there, the UPS Pickup stop has already come and gone. Some GC stores have a very early pickup times from UPS...as early as 1:00pm, just depending on where the GC store is on the UPS drivers route. GC does not control that issue, UPS does.

Sometimes, also, the GC store that your item is coming from is so slammed with outgoing orders...that were there in line to be packed and shipped before yours was...that the typically under-staffed and over-worked shipping department people...or person...often just one these days...simply does not have enough time to get them all packed and out on time. You can blame corporate cost cutting for that one.

For goodness' sake. There are real problems out here. My mimosa is getting warm and Cindy Crawford is on tv with her super-model friends turning 50 and they are getting "lines". . . . . . . . . I've got a Meaningful Beauty infomercial to get back to. Peptides, line-lifters, Botox, anti-oxidents all too much for a Sunday morning. Another mimosa please.

Second time I called and the rep said that high value items (note one guitar was under $1K and the other $1600) take longer to process
Funny thing is my credit card was charged within minutes.

I don't have a problem waiting, I do have a problem with false advertisement.
