I've had a few moments of changing my mind thinking that a B208 might be fine but I'm now trying to keep my focus on the bigger picture. I will eventually need proper PA for a duo and some large outdoor weddings/parties booked in 2020. I have a mixer so if needed, I could buy another CP8 at some point later this year and would have a reliable, quality PA that in theory should last until I decide to retire from music completely. It makes sense at this point in my life to get something that I won't outgrow or worry that it might not be good enough.

I have things in the house that I can sell - nothing worth a huge amount but getting rid of it all will pay for at least one speaker and help with the whole downsizing thing. This discussion has fired me up to get on with it.

Thank you all again, I'm so glad I came here for advice!
