Yes, one of the more interesting sandwiches we’ve had—thanks again.
Always good to see you two!

Thanks for posting pics, Tim! I always plan on taking more pictures and then get distracted by the guitars....
The tines on that guitar of mine are kalimba tines, arranged chromatically like a piano. It has its own set of active pickups as well. It's only had strings about a week and I haven't worked out a tune on it yet, but will do soon. A few players got it going, but it's definitely a niche area.
Great to see you and Mary, and I always enjoy talking with you!

After all these years we discovered we still wanted to change the strings before the show. To the local store we went! We met a guy who had not heard about the Artisan show so we invited him to come and share his day on Saturday. It was nice when he came to our booth to thank us for introducing him to the custom build world. I hope he made to all the booths of the 2024 Artisan show.

Of course, our hotel room becomes a make shift work bench.

And a private stage for us to hear a few McKnight guitars.

We got a glimpse of the McKnight ad as we were setting up the booth area. We chose the McKnight Choker guitar. The design and name comes from the choker necklaces the McKnight girls had. Back in the 1960's we were called hippies. Not so much now.

Set up included us showing the Fretboard Revival kits.

The Artisan Guitar show offers a treat of music we get to take home with us.

It's handy to have the Artisan bag available. WHat a cool way to carry the goodies from each booth

Of course there is this one lady I know who offers a bag when I see others struggle with carrying excess items.

Tim shows the side sound ports to curious people. This lady customized her own sound ports. Great Job!

But, hold on. I see some pretty classy shoes. Impressive! Gold one day, but she wore blue the next.

There was goofy off time in Steve Kinniard's booth! John Sebastian allowed e to steal a moment of his time. Steve allowed me to trespass!

Steve came by to visit our booth, too. It's great having neighbors we can pick on! We missed Ian.

Kevin did a great job of sharing our guitar music and his talents. (Thank you!)

Around town I found these to be entertaining:

And then we drove a bit out of the way to see a different piece of wood. Oh the guitars this tree could tell!

But I won't show you that tree. You can find it next time you feel like taking a drive.

My favorrrrrite part of any event is the quiet time I share with this man. I'm thankful to have Tim as my business and life partner. Married 42 years. I love this guy!

I'm getting the old guy an air fryer. How wonderful is that for a wife to give her husband?

"Perfectly wonderful," says I.
