Default First Time Removing Neck For Reset - Question

Mine is an archtop, loose neck (see Kay thread I put up before). I have no measured anything - string are off. Do I need to have the strings on and get measurements prior to removing the neck? Again, my first attempt.

Thanks!

It is better, but you need to take into account the gap at the heel. I use feeler gauges.
