Default Finally finished my 3rd album

It has taken me a little over ten years, but I have finally put together my 3rd CD. Retirement has afforded me the time to build a little studio and get back to recording. I must say this retirement gig is pretty darn cool. The new album consists of 12 new guitar tunes, five of which are performed on baritone guitars. I get some help from AGFers Steve Reinthal and Noah Zacharin, along with several other musicians from around the world who add cello, violin, flute, accordion, and a wee bit of percussion on three tracks. Steve plays acoustic guitar on one track and also mixed the entire album. Noah adds some electric lead on a couple of tracks. It feels very good to be making music again. The first single from my new album Cranes in the Moonlight, “Unfettered” started streaming last Friday. Check it out if you are a streamer. The singles are being released on the Raighes Factory Label and the album won’t officially come out until after the last single is released towards the end of the year.
I plan to distribute some CDs before the official release of the album, in June through a Kickstarter-Presale - Check it out. I am hoping to defray some of the expenses with the Kickstarter-Presale campaign. I was successful with 2nd album, so I thought I’d give it a try with this one. I have also uploaded the entire album to SoundCloud, should anyone like to give it a listen. Any feedback is appreciated. It probably goes without saying, but please feel free to share the Kickstarter-Presale. Thanks in advance

A big thanks to those of you who have critiqued some of these tunes during the development stage. Many of you supported my first two CDs, for which I will always be grateful. My hope is some of you will support this new album. By the way I used my Brook Tamar for half the tracks and my custom Russell Crosby multiscale baritone was used on several tracks as well. My Brook Taw and McIlroy AJ also make an appearance.

Congratulations James. I sold you an OM21 several years ago. I still play your first CD. Good luck with this one.

Hey, Roger! Good to know you’re still out there. How are you doing? I do remember that OM21.
Check out the new CD. I’d love to know what you think.
