Default Bourgeois OM Italian Spruce Figured Mahogany Adi Braces Hide

SOLD

OBO Shipped CONUS - No Trades
Payment via Paypal or Wire Transfer

I purchased this a few months ago from the individual who bought it from Diamondave in the winter of 2015/2016 in this thread:
https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=405474

That makes me the 3rd owner and Dave's comments in the original listing are spot on... definitely go read them! The only things I would add to his description are that this guitar has the most musical B string I've ever played... not thin, not metallic... a solid bold and beautiful B string that blends right in. I also personally feel Bourgeouis necks are the best in the business... easiest fretting, lower profile... just perfect. I'm selling to payoff a Bresnan I picked up here on AGF... the Bresnan fits a bit better tonally for what I was adding to the collection, but this Bourgeouis is easier to play... amazing versatility.

Specs:
2012 Custom Ordered
25.4" Scale
1-3/4" Nut
2-5/16" Saddle string spacing
Italian Spruce
Figured Mahogany
Adirondack Braces
Hot Hide Glue construction
Cocobolo rosette, heel cap, binding
Waverly Nickel Snakewood tuning machines (new)
No electronics
Hard case

Condition, a few items of note all related to the 2nd owner:
1. On the high e side of the neck, there is a dent that is visible in my pics. You can feel it when you run your fingers across it, but you will not feel it while playing as your hand/palm/fingers do not come in contact with that side of the neck (at least mine do not) pic1 pic2
2. The 2nd owner had installed a Baggs Anthem Tru-mic + UST which were removed before he posted it for sell. When removed that left the endpin jack hole (which I filled with a new endpin jack, no electronics, just the jack), left some residue and sticky pad reminants within the guitar (figure it could be removed but I didn't attempt to), and the original bone saddle was shimmed with ebony (so I installed a new bone saddle)
3. One of the original gold waverly tuning machines was binding badly, so I replaced with a new set of nickel (I prefer nickel over gold from an aesthetic preference)

Recordings with Zoom H2n (no filters/eq/processing):
Clip 1 (chords slow)
Clip 2 (basic fingerstyle)
Clip 3 (strumming)

Picture Galleries:
The strings in my pics may look old, but they're new... Earnie Ball Aluminum Bronze wound strings look dull, never shiny.

I recall a really bad sting when I sold this one, it was a favorite of mine.... tempting to revisit her, but I'm on selling mode... GLWS

Knowing what I do about Bourgeois - this is exactly what I'd order if I were to do so!

Stunning Mahogany. Wish things were different right now. Business had been shut down for 2 months already and now shut down completely due to flood damage.

Too much uncertainty to be buying any instruments right now!

Smile Oooohhhhh....

NICE

Love the woods and specs. If it was a 12 fret cut I would be in serious trouble...

Best on this!!!

Stay vigilant, stay well, have fun!
