I was gifted a Cordoba C5 for Christmas and its very good. They sell for $299 new, no electronics or cutaway. The C5ce version is $50 more. I don't know what another $250 or so will get you tonewise, it might just buy bling.

Not mine. Solid since 2014, made in China. Internet is the place to to amplify bad guitar stories. But a million guitars functioning fine doesnt make the news. (Not claiming Cordoba has never, ever dropped the ball. I dont follow the inside baseball.)

Lucida 777 m- basically a prudencio saez from spain -
great instrument with a nice sound - a few steps up from a cordoba
