In ever got past the neck. I plugged it in at home and it sounded good. But I didn’t experiment. I packed it back up and returned it.

What didn't you like about the neck? The narrow string spacing or the fat "D" shape?

The piezo on it's own sounds like a decent piezo. Not great or horrible.
Similar to a Baggs Element. But I can't imagiine a scenario where you would just want the piezo sound when the blended sound with the mic image is so much nicer?

For another interesting perspective check out this other video I made. It has the SRT2 vs the Element piezo vs the Anthem SL. The piezo is in the middle.
I wonder if some folks might prefer that to the other dual systems??? I don't think its horrible and with some preamp/EQ help, might sound pretty good.

Oh if I had the Yamaha I would blend for sure. I am just thinking of how the SRT2 piezo would sound on its own in another guitar. I bet I can find just the piezo for my Taylor. I have two jacks and want a K&K in one and a UST in the other that I will blend with the aura or Tonedexter. I just want a UST that's a bit fatter sounding than the ones I have tried.

The Fishman Matrix seems to be the highest regarded piezo around here.

SRT stands for "Studio Response Technology" which is basically IR

Nice samples Jack. Both guitars sound very good, to my ears the Yamaha sounds better.
