Good morning Dru, and all. Have a person over to give me a quote on tiling my bathroom (terrible shape). Go for a nature walk with my wife. Tomorrow, no plans really, Love Fall! My favorite time of year. Enjoy your weekend folks,

I also played an outdoor (Farmer’s Market) gig today. Great weather in my corner of the world. Had a fine time! Resting for an hour or so, then heading to an outdoor jam.

Tomorrow: outdoor breakfast with a friend, massages for me and my lovely wife (she has been going through radiation therapy and could really use some soothing and relaxation), and maybe try watching some football again (got bored last time, but am going to give it another try).

This might be the best weekend I have had since February! Grateful for every aspect of it.

I've been working on a much awaited project, shelving for my stereo. A good friend gave me maple slabs that he'd milled with a chainsaw. I took rough sawn to finished lumber with live edge. Yesterday I hung the shelves, today I get to reinstall my turntable, receiver and etc. Do need to lengthen speakers cables... Won't let that slow me down, not today. Next project will be LP storage of some kind, I've a small collection. Progress is a good thing.

Nature is dictating the plans. I need to winterize the cabin - drain the pipes - because freezing temperatures are coming this week.

Pictures would best, but racing the clock starts now. We want to get a good MTB ride in, winterize, put stuff away, and will have the the drive home.

Yesterday was beautiful even though a grey day - fall colors, still green, and enough trail traffic to see your way. Not too many leaves down yet.

I hope it went well. I made the mistake of offering to install tile in both our bathrooms myself. I did the smaller of the two and it was a frustrating process. I have all the materials ready to go for the larger bathroom but there are more cuts.

My wife and I go bicycling together every Saturday and we took a nice long ride with friends on the paved portion of the Great Allegheny Passage between downtown Pittsburgh and the town of McKeesport, 25 miles all told. I would love to do the whole thing to Cumberland, Maryland one day.
