Good for you for actually having seen Zardoz! I've never met anyone who has actually seen this. It seems to be one of the worst by reputation primarily.

I'm sure I've seen many awful movies, but very few are coming to mind other than Suicide Squad. It's tedious and...

I enjoyed Segal's early movies. I have seen a couple of his newer movies a couple of years ago and they were boring. Both movies had the same plot too.

Hercules in New York, Arnold Schwarznegger's acting debut, in which his heavily accented voice was dubbed. It falls into the so-bad-it's-good category, in the sense that once you've seen it, you will have established the cinematic nadir beneath which few if any movies will descend.

With you on NBK–just a terrible film. Incredibly cynical and indulgent. I can totally understand folks really not liking the second half of 2001, but A Clockwork Orange? That was pure genius. Disturbing yes, but amazing.

No flames. Incredulous, but no flames.

I know this is supposed to be a "just for fun" thread but I must say the movie, "Sideways" was the worst movie I've ever seen.

I'll never forget walking out of the theater saying out loud, "There's two hours of my life I'll never get back." In my opinion, it was the most pointless thing ever put onto film. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. It was the most self-centered piece of trash film that's ever been made.

Seriously, I'd rather watch men in rubber Godzilla suits 10 times per day than sit through one more viewing of "Sideways."

How it ever got on the Academy Awards list is beyond me.

Just my 2 cents,
PJ

Wow, that's definitely a hot take. That movie got a lot of love and sold a lot of tickets (and drove Pinot sales up and Merlot down!). I happen to like that movie, but I can totally get why some people wouldn't (it definitely risked being too cute for its own good). I hate "Forrest Gump" and the rest of the country seems to love it.

hi Fred, but women love it, and the follow up. Ya gotta admit that the music was good.

I walked out on “The Gods Must Be Crazy”...one of the few times I have done so. It was pretty popular when it came out....seemed like everyone was talking about it for a while. But it didn’t land with me. Thought it was terrible.

I Robot. A great novel by Asimov with a very serious theme.
The Movie turned it into shootemup rubbish.

If Isaac was alive today he'd be turning in his grave!

The Patriot - I'm concerned that this sort of film is what some eole think is real history.

“The Open House”, on Netflix.

To quote Dorothy Parker, “This wasn't just plain terrible, this was fancy terrible. This was terrible with raisins in it."
