Default NFL Week 9

Week 9 starts tonight with the unbeaten 49ers playing the Cardinals.

What story lines you following this week?

For starters, the Pats released Gordon. Patriots vs Ravens should be an interesting game. Pats had a pretty weak first half of the schedule I must admit. MNF cowboys vs Giants should be a good divisional game. Dolphins might score their first win? Bengals might lose, even on bye week. [emoji23]

Yea, Patriots had a relatively easy go in the first half but I'm guessing they could have beaten most, if not all, quality teams too. Looking forward to the KC game.

Being that the Steelers need all the help they can get I'm actually rooting for New England this week. They're SURE to lose then!

Seriously, the Ravens actually have a chance! As much as it pains me to say that, I have to put that out there.

Of course, the Steelers also have to beat the Colts this week. Hopefully I'll be in good enough of a mood to watch it if the Pens win tomorrow. That's a pretty big deal around here in Pittsburgh.

LOL, let's hope not!

Josh Gordon picked up by Seattle. I hope he does well there. Never got a reason why the Patriots released him.

I think people are too focused on the Pats ability to stop Lamar Jackson and not enough on the Ravens ability to stop Brady. Don Martindale's defensive schemes work nicely against quarterbacks who can't make quick decisions in the face of confusing blitzes. But, that's not Brady. I'm afraid he'll be able to carve them up pretty easily.

Brady will make any defense pay if he can read a blitz.

Well, Dolphins are no longer winless. What does that say about the Jets?

The Steelers D pulled out the W to put them at .500 with a little help from Indy’s kicker. Micah Fitzpatrick gets the credit in my book for his 96yd pick 6 with honorable mentions to Bud Dupree and TJ Watt.

Knocking Jacoby out of the game helped a bit.

Well can’t win them all. Going into the bye week and coming back and destroy the eagles.

Pats lose!
No longer undefeated.

A most satisfying NFL game, indeed.
