WTB: Martin 000-18GE Found one!
Looking to do a straight cash deal for one of these in excellent condition, no issues. Will buy a natural top if no 1935 'bursts are around.
Found one. Thanks to all who helped. Last edited by Cameleye; 04-02-2018 at 09:48 AM. |

Thanks Austin but one's overseas and the other's a little more that I was looking to spend. Appreciate it though, Ce.

Excellent condition and a 1935 sunburst is a pretty tall order

These are new guitars, you know...the 1935 refers to the Golden Era guitars they're modeled after... |

Keep on the hunt. It is one my favorites! ('37 not '35 I believe . . .)

I think the nomenclature is: 000-18GE 1937 (meaning the year of original manufacture that Martin was aiming at with the then current 000-18GE) and the style of sunburst is called a 1935 'burst.
Anyway, still in the market, new or used. Thanks, Ce |

Well, you learn something everyday. I looked on a site which does say the burst is '35. So I guess I have a 1935-1937 000-18 GE!

In addition to a 000-18GE 1935 'burst, I'd also buy a natural.
