I may have left off a few, but my list of Pickups and Preamps is below. It's not in chronological order or paired up. I also did not bother listing any amps or speakers I have used. That seemed too daunting of a task for me.

I now challenge you to list your Pickups and Preamps. (No effects or amps/speakers please)

Here is my list:

Pickups:
Fishman Matrix UST
Highlander
BBand
LR Baggs Dual Source
LR Baggs Element
Fishman Pro (The barn door in a Taylor)

DPA 4099 Mic
Taylor ES
LR Baggs I-Beam
LR Baggs Anthem
LR Baggs Lyric
LR Baggs Anthem SL
Taylor ES 2
Dazzos
Trance Amulet

Preamps:
Fishman Pocket Blender

Fire Eye Red Eye
Mesa Boogie Rosette DI
Tonedexter
Grace Alix

In the current guitars?

Lowden/Running Dog - K&K Pure Mini into Red-Eye Twin
Mossman 6 - Schertler AG6 w/mic
Mossman 12 - Dimarzio Angel into Sunrise SB2
Craviola - Baggs Lyric

I’m planning to convert all of them except the Craviola to K&K + magnetic, as soon as I’m willing to bite the budget to get several new pickups….

Except the grass isn’t greener unless somebody installed artificial turf.

OK. Here's the list as best as I can re-construct it

Pickups (Multiple copies of most of these as one would be briefly in favor and get installed in multiple guitars)

Schertler (? It was a German company) UST
LR Baggs i-beam
PUTW #27
Schertler DynG
Audio Technica G95 mic
LR Baggs Lyric
AKG C411 Micro Mic
dual mics inside guitar (Can't find a reference. They're gone. 2 mics on a stick)
K&K Pure Western
Taylor GS-mini mag pickup
LR Baggs M1a
LR Baggs M80
Schatten HFN
MiSi mag
Fishman Rare Earth
Sonitone UST
Skysonic Pro-1

Preamps & processors:

Dtar Mama Bear
Art Tube preamp
Zoom A2
Fishman Aura
Zoom A3
PUTW Love Your Sound endpin preamp
K&K Pure Preamp
Schatten Mini Pre
Schatten Black Box endpin volume Control
Headway Preamp
Redeye
LR Baggs Session DI
ToneDexter

I'm a sucker for amplified technology that will make my acoustic guitars sound like acoustic guitars when amplified. It's a constant battle between accuracy and simplicity, and Very Good vs Good Enough.

I HATE the crackly sound of piezos ! ! !

I see there are other folks with long lists like mine. I guess I just wanted to know that I alone wasn’t the only one keeping the acoustic amplification industry afloat. The whole process of buying and selling was quite the hobby for me really. I never let my gear pile up to wear things weren’t being used. The AG classifieds here was very helpful over the years along with a little help from Craigslist and Reverb.

Someone also mentioned the multiple times they have purchased the same product. That’s true. I have had multiple installs of the same pickup many times as well as selling off a preamp and eventually buying the same one again because I thought I needed it again. It’s all slowing down now, so much so I have to actually start playing guitar more.

Out of curiosity, how did you find the Wavelength UST? If you can remember that is. I am not interested in the mic portion but just the UST tone. Did it differ much from a standard UST?

Highlander and Wavelength are on par IMO and the best UST I tried, less quack than anything else I installed. 18 V preamp on the Wavelength gives more headroom which is nice and audible when hitting hard.
