Default X-20 shipping

Emerald x-20 ships on Friday, supposed to be in the shipping video for Friday’s outgoing guitars.
Custom neck, 6 string, Koa veneer, ghost piezo and K&K contact pickup, Celtic knot fret markers with black tuners.
Probably take 2 weeks to get here, and now that I know it’s done, 2 weeks (if lucky) will seem like a month.

IT'S A GOOD THING YOU HAVE SOME OTHER INSTRUMENTS TO KEEP YOU BUSY WHILST AWAITING. SAKI HELPS, TOO.

If UPS actually picks it up on Friday, you may very well see it next week.

But then again, maybe you won’t.

Hope this helps.

Seriously, I notice you already have an X20. What prompted a second one?

Gosh. Mine is an ancient 2018 version. Maybe I should update too

Mine is a 2017. It is the "second newest" guitar I have. Well, second newest acoustic guitar. My apologies if I have let down the forum. It still works, plays, sounds, and looks good.

Do I need to upgrade, too?

None of mine have ever shipped on the shipping video Friday. Often its the next Friday when they start to travel. And they sit still on weekends. I had one start moving on the Thursday after the video but did not leave Ireland until the following Monday.

They're really reluctant to leave their birthplace and get on a plane. Typically 20 days from the final ransom to the delivery. Great fun to watch their travels. Good luck.

I actually need to take the 2020 X-20 down as I sold that beautiful guitar to a happy owner. Neck was too wide for my hands so they made this one narrower, hence the custom neck.

I do have a ups tracking number that states it shipped today and delivers Monday the 19th. So with that document, I don’t suppose it will be on the list of guitars to be shipped.

I meant to say that I suppose it won’t be on Fridays shipping video.

It's always a good thing to have the UPS tracking number. They are never wrong and the product arrives when it's supposed to.

HAR HAR HAR

That's cruel and I apologize.

Oh I fully get it. I worry more about breakage than I do about the actual date.

MG;

I have never had any of my 10 carbon fiber guitar broken in transit. The worst thing that seems to have happened with emeralds is that the accompanying mug broke.

What you need to worry about is having the guitar lost in transit, delayed at some obscure airport or confiscated by some official. And that's why god made Saki.

Did you go with a narrower nut? Or more taper up the neck? Or both? Curious because I like the nut width on my X7 but find it gets thick up the neck. I love the feel of my X10 up the neck but the 1 11/16 nut puts the string a little close together.
