One more Inline thread (plug-in demo)

I downloaded the Nembrini Audio "Acoustic Voice" plug-in demo and made this demo. Thank you to forum member lkingston for the link to the plug-in.

Settings are:

Landola J80 guitar
Condenser mic
Position: N32 H68
Distance 10.8"
No reverb
Input mode :Piezo (default)

Everything else I left alone.

I got the gain matching a bit better than it was and tried to fix the balance a bit.

Not bad for a plug-in. Not sure if I will plop the $39 down for a toy like this ($20 and I'd have bought it by now, ) I'm thinking about it.

Interesting! I hope others with more discerning ears than mine chime in with their thoughts. (The gain not being matched is making it hard for me to be sure.)

(I’m also considering plunking down the $39—which would be exactly $39 more than I have ever paid for a plug-in.)

Hi Barry…
I know you mentioned this…the gain on your samples are so different.

I cannot turn the first one up to match the second on my desktop rig. I'm creating noisy output just from trying to turn it up so I can hear it to judge differences.

I can turn the second one down…then I don't hear either at the level I'd need to make good comparisons.

Also there is something 'different' in the Left/Right balance between them.

Later today I will match the gain and see what I can do about the balance. Right now I'm installing new security lights on my property.

I think the "without" sounds much better. Levels aside, the left-right balance is weird on the plugin track, sounds like maybe some sort of phase issue going on.

Ok I fixed it up a bit. I used the plug-in for less than 30 minutes, plus I recorded in mono and then rendered in stereo which probably messed up the L/R.
