Default Finally found my Pete Huttlinger book

The Peter Huttlinger Collection Volume I. Ahh, now I can dig in. There's a few DADGAD in there that I really like too. I was looking for my Triad Power book by Mark Hanson and Pete's book was near the bottom of the stack in a closet. I found the Triad Power book too. Bonus!

Pete has an arrangement of Superstition in there that I wish I had back in my 20s. Too fumble fingered for it now though, great tune.

There are some great tunes in this book. The Fields of Gold arrangement is one of my favorite DADGAD pieces to play. McGuire’s Landing is on my list of pieces I’d like to learn.

I'm working on McGuire's Landing and Tis So Sweet now. Nice tunes.

Nice one Barry.

The first time I heard mcguires landing, almost 2 years ago now, I resolved that I would play it, and the process boosted my playing and understanding of the instrument more than I ever thought possible. I was, to that point, a pretty basic strummer.

Such a simple piece, but such amazing musicality in it, and so clearly written for 6 string steel guitar by a master of 6 string steel guitar.
