Default Coryell's Ferry (Eric Skye)

Here is number 5 of my series of the Eric Skye fiddle tunes played with a flatpick with the emphasis on melody rather than speed.

This is one of Eric's originals which I figured out from his YouTube video. Having played it for a bit some things have changed slightly including the addition of a different ending. As Eric states, nothing fancy, just once through at a modest tempo.

I have been playing these on my Brook Lyn but it sounded nice to me on the Brook Lamorna so I decided to give it a go.

Short but hopefully sweet..........

That was lovely Phil!

Very clean and accurate! What a pretty little melody! I really enjoyed that!

Very pretty melody and as always greatly played. You play with such a relaxed ease, it is very impressive.

Beautiful, the clarity and sweetness of your Brook is just wonderful and your playing is (again) inspirational. Thanks for sharing this Phil.

Thanks Tom. I may look relaxed but believe me that once that red recording light comes on I get nervous which results in fluffing things and forgetting where I'm up to etc. It's hard work getting a decent take

Thanks Barry. I'm still enjoying this little stint using a pick.
