Default Spotted a McPherson Sable on Craigslist

I hope it is OK to post this here. Ran across it and thought someone might be interested. https://muncie.craigslist.org/msg/d/...456834150.html

I paid somewhat less than that for mine new at the local Guitar Center, but before the pandemic. I suppose things have changed now. Kind of reminds me of a bit of California history when, during the gold rush in the 1800's, shovels were selling for $200 apiece.

By the way, there is something wrong with that guitar. The sound hole slipped off to the side somehow.

I've heard the Kevin Michael ones aren't as good.
That said, love my sable.

I know nothing about it but a local store had one. Supposed to be a boutique shoppe. Can't say I like the binding. Maybe that explains the price. Use the price as a benchmark.

Seems high priced for what it is, I didn't pay much more than that for my 2021 Sable with the Honeycomb and gold evo frets.

You still can. Musicians Friend has them in stock and will let you apply the 15% coupons they’re always sending out….

I also get the veteran's discount. By the way mine has the honeycomb top and gold EVO frets and tuners (i.e. the gold package).

Apparently the McPhersons didn't do so well at the local GC, as they are not carrying them anymore. Too bad, but I am glad I got mine when I did.
