I'm with you on this one.

The non-humbucking version always sounds better. More of an open voice.

I have owned Bardens. Used them in my Tele and in my Strat for quite a few years.

Joe got it about as right as it can be gotten I think. But I don't use them any longer.

I have Duncans, Fralins, Klein and Fender single coils in my single coil guitars. No single coil size humbuckers.
