I use the TVM50 PA system from Traynor, with the guitar running through a Pandora X5 to wah pedal to RC3 looper into the TVM. Sounds fantastic, battery powered, 50 watts, with input for the Mic XLR and an RCA stereo in as an option. To me, the powerful PA with amp modeling does the trick. I play a lot of country fairs and markets and places without power, so my whole rig runs without the need for a power supply.

Currently I own Fender Mustang III V2 modeler amp. I have saved a couple presets that give me that Fender clean and Marshall growl when needed. Really have no desire to tweak for weeks on the end, set it and forget it. Fernandes matches well with it. As it stands I rarely play electric these days, no intention on selling amp or the guitar.

Briefly I have owned Marshall Class 5 combo with matching external cabinet, sounded great but way too loud for home use, in the end I gave up and sold it.
Mustang 1 amp I owned was a nice home practice amp but I wanted to be able to tweak settings on the fly, hence the upgrade to Mustang III.

In the past when I played electric as a primary instrument a good friend lent me his half stack Marshall, believe it was a JCM. That thing was a beast. We had a practice space rented out, I imagine some of the hearing was lost during those days

There have been other amps over the years such as a Kustom 100-2 in cascade color (wish I still had that one), an Arthur Smith 1 X 15 tube which put out some sound, and Acoustic lead amp, and I am sure others that I cannot recall at the moment.
Tom, how's the Kustom doing? I recall you saying that you were having technical difficulties with it.

Nice gear!

How do you like the Yamaha amp? Could it work for small venues?

It's great for practice, that's it, it will not but good for anything else. At most is to play in your living room to your friends. There is no volume to it and no bass to speak of.

Thanks, I am using a Fender Deluxe Reverb and it can handle anything I throw at it and we mic the speaker anyway so I am good with a modest sized amp.

The Bogner is much better suited for small venue, it's small, light and plenty of gain on tap.

I'm a living room rocker, and my Fender Champion 40 fits the bill perfectly for me...

Currently:
- egnater tweaker 40 dual channel head and egnater 1x12 cab all tube
- rivera 2x12 duotwelve combo all tube

Past:
- SWR California Blonde with POD (never got a sound I really liked but it was very flexible)
- Dean Markley CD60 all tube combo
- Mesa Boogie SOB
- old (borrowed) Marshall 200 watt head (lead) and fender blackface (clean).. this was a dream setup, but wasn't mine.

I don't change amps very often.

I built this little jewel a couple years back...
It's a shame I don't play electric much anymore.
