Strings, are they worth the cost?

I know, the post had more to it, but the thread title really tickled my funny bone.

This question is not that daft. My first decent acoustic guitar was a Suzuki Dred - I loved it and I would love a Suzuki GT750 Kettle.

Sorry.... went off thread a bit there.

If Martin guitars came out with a Denny Zager signature model would Denny Zagerize it?

Then I'd buy one ... if it came with a free cap and spare set of your flexier strings.

I just tuned my guitar last week and now it needs tuning again.

Is it broken? If I put some epoxy on the knobs, will it keep them from going out of tune?

NO!! LOL You also cannot play:
1) a travel guitar at home
2) an OM when not in an orchestra,
2) an Advanced Jumbo when you're only a beginner,
3) a Rainsong guitar on a sunny day...

It does if you are boiling strings! But, hey, since we're on the subject, do I need to heat the guitar to play hot licks?

Yes. And you should chill the guitar to play cool jazz.
