Default Have we run out of things to talk about?

That is always my thought when I don't see a post here for a couple of days.

Probably so if people with a question browsed through the prior threads covering that topic. Since that will
never be the case it's just a temporary lull.

I was thinking of starting a new thread about my adventures of learning a new DAW over the past 2 ½ months (Studio One Professional), having experience with only Pro Tools for nearly 20 years. AGF member Kevwind is on a similar path.

Yes indeed some of the WorkFlow (compared to PT) is a nice improvement, some not so much, and no doubt a bunch is simply not knowing the different WF or keystroke.

Just last night I discovered in renaming tracks for a template, that the "tab" key jumps you to the next track for renaming as opposed to that being a selectable option of the renaming window in PT.

One frustrating thing for me is (even after watching a Studio One Expert video on the specific subject) and having selected the PT option for keystroke shortcuts. I still cannot get S1 to switch between full screen edit and mix windows with command and the (=/+ key)

Nah. Just letting the background noise die off a little.

It looks like things have picked after a couple of slow days.

Eventually someone will start a thread on what mic, interface, or preamp to buy.

If you're really all that interested in learning about recording, you're not on a website about acoustic guitars.

Well, there are some tips and tricks having to do with recording that are specific to acoustic guitar (mic type, placement, processing). But yeah, this isn't necessarily the best place on the internet for learning about recording in general.

Not just specific to acoustic guitar, but specific to the kind of acoustic guitar music and recordings that people here seem to be into. In the grand scheme, that pretty much a sub-niche.

In the grand scheme of music--and even just within the sub-category of guitar--this entire site is a pretty small sub-niche.
