The Spitfire Audio Black Friday sale is up and you can save as much as 75%. I have no personal experience with their libraries but a couple of friends of mine swear by them, I've heard their mixes with them, and they do sound quite excellent.

The McDSP BF sale is on. They offer plugins in two versions: NV and HD. The NV versions are less expensive. The only difference is if you need "AAX DSP," then you'd need the HD version.
Note: AAX DSP is not the same as AAX. If you only need AAX, the less expensive NV version should be your choice.

The Tokyo Dawn Labs Black Friday sale is on. Their plugins are highly thought of by many.

A really neat offering by Spitfire is a completely Free basic symphonic VI. A great way to get your feet wet in the Symphonic world. The difference between the paid libraries and this free one is all the articulations and variations there of.

"33 instruments brought to life inside our free, easy-to-use plugin, compatible with any major music creation software. A whole orchestra of the highest quality at your fingertips"
https://www.spitfireaudio.com/bbc-sy...estra-discover

The Symphonic VI world is an endless one. So many choices. So many great companies. With no one company solving the entire needs. With that being said, I own one paid Spitfire Library and enjoy it.

Yes, Serrano just put up 10% off their Vintage 87 ($629) and Vintage 84 mics (a pair for $739). The 84's come with 3 capsules each (Cardioid Vintage/Dark, Cardioid Modern/Presence, and Omnidirectional), plus a wooden case...no mounts, no high-pass filter or pad.

BTW, Austrian Audio CC8 SDC's also 10% off at some dealers (a pair for $854). Fixed cardioid and include mic clips, windshields and a stereo spread bar.

As for what plugins, when I was looking for a new de-esser, it came down to the Weiss or the FabFilter. I wound up with the Weiss because it went on sale first. But I could have been very happy with the FabFilter de-esser so I think that's good one to own. I also like their multi-band compressor.
This is exactly right. I was able to grab a couple of new plugins from them for a great price.

Sound Radix has their BF sale up and running. I use their Auto-Align plugin all the time to get guitar tracks in phase. It's super easy to use and makes a huge and positive difference nearly every time.

Thanks, Jim, these links have been great! I recently discovered Auto-Align, can't wait to use it on my next recording attempt.

Plugin-Alliance has crazy discounts going on today, worth checking out, too.

The MassDrop Sennheiser 6xx headphones have been further reduced to $179. If you need open-back headphones, you're not going to find anything this good for this price. IMO, these are outstanding.

Not a Strymon but this Raum reverb plugin is free from Native instruments (kontakt) probably does way more than a Strymon, and you can get Strymon sounds out of it. You can download Kontakt free to get it. You first need to download Native Access. If that is too much for you I might have the actual zip folder for Raum I can send your way.

About 6 months ago I bought a pair of these headphones for late night music listening while my girl is sleeping. And.... I love them. They are comfortable and the sound is extremely balanced, so much so, that now I do a little late night mixing with them. This is a great deal on some really good headphones.

I have been checking SoundRadix every day for BF discounts. Finally saw last night at 12 p.m that it went on sale.

Purchased it today! Looking forward to using it.

Auto-Align won't disappoint. I was amazed how much sound I was losing on guitar tracks the first time I used it.

Anyone considering a phase alignment tool might want to consider MAutoAlign. It's the easiest to use (no side chaining required), and it's only $26 today.
