Light weight D-28 around 2011?
I can't remember the model name of the really light weight D-28 released somewhere around 2011 with an Adi top and might have had Madagascar back and sides but did have rearward shifted scalloped bracing. Limited edition and was built as light weight as possible. Must be having a senior moment but I can't remember?!?

I believe you are referring to a Martin CS-21-11
Beautiful guitars with light weight woods selected. Tbar, authentic bracing, rear shifted x braces, Adi tops, Madagascar back/sides with maple binding. |

I own a Martin CS-21-11. What would you like to know about it?

Yep, great guitars except for the Spanish cedar neck which was prone to too much relief. With a mahogany neck, that guitar would have been perfect.

I hadn't heard that before about the Spanish cedar necks. Two of mine are Spanish cedar, and I have had no relief problems so far. Has anyone else experienced problems?

I wouldn't know Spanish cedar from mahogany, and Martin only specifies 'select hardwood' for my D-18 neck. No problems.

I had one Spanish cedar neck that was hard as a rock. It required (almost?) no truss support under medium gauge strings. Didn’t like the box the neck was connected to or I would have kept it.
