Default Acoustic Player Magazine Forum

Years ago I was a member of that excellent forum which sadly died a few years ago. I loved it there and was just wondering how many members on here used to also be members there...

We're not supposed to talk about other guitar forums here. It's kind of like being on a date and texting another girl at the same time ....

That is not correct. The forum being discussed is defunct. Our rule prohibits the promotion of competing forums. I don't see how a defunct forum competes with us.

I was a member on that forum too and it is missed. There used to be more acoustic guitar forums that were active than now and sadly, it seems agf is the only forum left that caters especially for enthusiasts of boutique and solo luthier made contemporary voiced guitsrs.

I find this forum to be all that I need for general guitar questions and discussions.
We have a very good thing going on here with great members.
What's not to like?

Never was a member of the other forum.

Most of you know that I own a forum very similar and we have members that are members of both.

But I'll be the first to say that forums are odd ducks. Forums as a whole is a dying format...but they are the proverbial gate keepers of truth.

I'd venture to say that for most hobbies...if you google a question, odds are it'll take you to a forum of some sort.

If that’s the case, you have more issues than “talking to another girl” while on a date.
You have “Sam and Dean Winchester” level problems.

I was a member of that forum. Wrote a couple of tunes for a group play. It was fun.

So it's like talking to your current girlfriend about your ex-girlfriend. Or like saying: 'wasn't March 1987 brilliant'... who cares?
