Humidity/temp's affect on wooden guitar?
Does 50% humidity at 90F temperature have the same affect on wood as 50% humidity at 70F temperature?

Yes, near enough that we can ignore the slight influence of temperature change on the moisture content of the wood.
Between 70F and 90F the equilibrium moisture content of wood changes about 0.3 % - the amount of change that a 2-3% difference in RH would bring about. For this reason it is only necessary to check the RH that the guitar is in. |
