Default NGD - Martin 000-28

I've been waiting for close to a year for one of these reimagined versions to pop up on either the AGF classifieds or my local Craigslist.

It finally happened...a CL search for Martin returned a for sale ad that was only a few hours old.

This guitar is not mint. It looks the previous owner played it...a lot. Definitely
broke it in for me and I don't have to worry about the first ding.

It plays and sounds great. I need some time bond with it but so far it feels good.

Congrats! Fellow new 000 owner and I must say I love the shorter scale length of mine, it makes it easier to play and bend notes, which I appreciate!

Play it in good health!

What a fun looking guitar you have. She's a beauty. Did you see any for under a Grand when you were searching?

Beautiful guitar. You have a treasure there.

I own a few 000/OM Martins. There is nothing out there close to the tone of those guitars.

Play it in good health!

Right- I haven't even started investigating that model, obviously, and it's well out of my budget. Glad you got the one you were after she looks so sweet I had to ask.

Under $2,000 is a great deal. Like you, I waited a long time for one - took delivery a few weeks ago. It is a brand new - made in 2020. When I first played it, I wasn't blown away, BUT, when I changed to my strings - WOW. It had Martin strings on it - just me - but I don't like Martin strings - never have. I feel like it is already opening up (maybe that is just me getting used to it), but I know that as time passes it will sound better and better. Mine isn't going anywhere. Congrats. The new 000-28s are very nice instruments.

Look for a used 000-MMV. They are all solid spruce and RW and are in your price range. I had one a while back and they are great.
