Question Fender Squier Mini Strat nut

I've got this brand new Mini and I have a problem with the D string (the 4'th). It's buzzing towards one of the frets (I think the first).
It looks like the nut's groove for the D string is to deep, so I put a piece of a match to lift the string up a little.
It works, but would like to replace the nut.
Anybody knows where I can get one for this mini (the nut is 40mm) ?

You don't really need a whole new nut. It's a pretty straightforward repair for a guitar tech.

Rip that useless thing out and put in a bone nut.
Watch "reloved guitars" You tube for how to file it.

Hey Winblows, it's common for techs to fix a low nut slot to use baking soda and super glue in the nut slot and then reshape . No need for a new nut.

Smile Solved

... it was THE string. I replaced a new D string and everything is fine.
It's not a LP, but it is meant to be used as "practice while lying relaxed on the sofa" and it works fine
Thank you.

Thanks for the follow-up. I would have never guessed that a string change would have fixed the issue with a first fret buzz but glad you tried it out. Is it the same gauge string?

I did not check the gauge of the factory strings and I now ended up with replacing all 6 strings to a set 10-46, similar to what I use on my LP Studio.
It really makes a difference.
