The Tab Pigs will have it figured out in no time.

All the rest of us will just shake our heads.

<sigh>.........that is the epitome of a DRY recording, but that's a magnetic pickup in all it's glory, unless I'm sadly mistaken.

Great work, Leo!

Looks like there's going to be a "Noon" Listening Party stream live in about 90 minutes:

Being a fingerstylist I was interested so I listened. Then I remembered that I dont like duo's that I cant distinguish the parts or if there is overdubbing. This is one CD by great players, that I wont buy.

Interesting. Sounds like nylon crossovers.

I enjoyed it and will be buying. But then again, anything with Mike Gordon will be interesting. Phish were the band who got me through the near musical wasteland in the UK that was the 90s - they are probably amongst the most gifted musicians of the past 50 years.

I just finished listening to the whole thing (free streaming for amazon prime members).

There are only two instrumental tracks, "Flat Top" (2:20) and "Ants" (4:40). They're okay. The rest are vocal-with-accompaniment. I did not care for any of these.

I think of myself as a Leo Kottke fan. I like his version of "Pamela Brown."
