Finding an Emerald Gigbag...
I decided that I'd really like an Emerald gig bag for my X30, not just any old off-brand bag but a real Emerald gig bag. I checked with Chloe and she gave me a price of $90 for the bag AND $90 for shipping. That seemed a bit steep so I placed a WANTED ad in our Classified section but I only got a few responses regarding what other companies' gig bags might work. So I watched REVERB, Ebay and our Classifieds to see if I might find one. What I did find was a guy who was selling an X30 that had a Hiscox case AND an Emerald gig bag. We communicated and agreed that the gig bag was probably not going to make a difference in his sale and agreed on a very reasonable price. It got lost for a week but arrived today. It looks like it just left Donegal and fits my X30 perfectly. Glad I held out for the real thing....

My new custom X20 will be coming with a gig bag. I already have two Hiscox cases for the X20 and X20-12 that are already here. I don't need a third one that mostly doesn't get used. For my uses, I'm a gig bag guy. My X20 rode to a backyard bluegrass jam last night in a Taylor hard bag, the most common case that leaves my house.
