Default 3 fingerpicking tunes - A/B test of 2 mic placement techniques

Here's 3 tunes I played on in a pretty nice studio. Pretty happy with the guitar tone they got.

The Christmas Song

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

America The Beautiful

I used the same guitar (a John S. Kinnard Dell'Arte dreadnaught) on all 3 songs. However on HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS the guitar was tuned down a whole step.

The first two songs were recording using two mics positioned at 90 degrees to each other - one with the diaphram pointed up to the ceiling, and the other with the diaphram pointed down to the floor.

The third song was recorded with the same two mics on each side of a manequinn's head (see picture below) where the ears would be.
