Not ashamed to say I play banjo ;-) here's a vid from a gig
I love the vibe banjo can add to a song. I'm not virtuoso, but I've had two calls from Grammy winning producers (Tommy Sims & Mark Heimermann) to play banjo on sessions. Why, I'm not sure - but its a fun instrument.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW7c...E&feature=plcp The vid above was from a recent gig with a great young singer/songwriter Kayla Nettles in the finals of the American Country Star competition. She made the final 5 out of 2,000 entries. |

I love what a banjo adds to some arrangements, too! I can hear why you've been asked to play it...clean and accurate sounding to me! I plunk a little, but I still have a long way to go to sound that clean! Nicely done.

Kid's got a good voice. That Yamaha sounded pretty good too. Guy on the banjo . . . . I dunno . . . .
Looks like it was a fun gig. |

It's great. She can really sing!!! And she has a lot of stage presence. I bought my first banjo a couple of months ago ... I'll have to dig it out again.
