External mic suggestions for recording with my Ipad
I am looking for a little better sound quality when I record my guitar with the iPad. The only "quality" mics I have are dynamics. What do you suggest? Thanks for your help, Bill

Depends.
For cheap, handy and excellent - iRig Acoustic: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigacoustic/ For expensive, unweildy and excellent - if it's a recent iPad most USB interfaces will allow you to choose whatever mic you like, including your dynamics which will sound great in a great room.

The Zoom F6 works really well with the iPad Pro as a USB-C multichannel interface. It requires too much voltage for the iPhone, but works just fine on the iPad Pro.
According to the manual, it should only work in two channel mode in IOS, but I have no problem with the multichannel computer ready mode on the iPad. |
