Offered for sale is a very recent Charis mid depth SJ. What a guitar.

-15.25” lower bout
-25 3/8” scale
-1.75” nut
-2.28” saddle spacing
-Depth at heel ~90mm
-Depth at tail ~100mm
-Euro spruce top
-Indian rosewood back and sides
-Five piece laminated beck
-Figured koa bindings
-Abalone rosette
-Gotoh 510 tuners with custom Charis wood knobs. Original gold knobs included.
-Doves in flight fretboard inlay
-Engineered internal braces
-Bound sound port

Just a beautiful guitar, from material selection to playability, to sound.

Currently setup nicely at a comfortable 6/64-4/64” with plenty of room on the saddle for adjustment. Easy playability gives way to a clear, big sound, to me suited for finger style (and according to Bill Wise, by design). I like the slightly shallower depth, which to me adds definition to the sound and individual notes.

I get a lot of enjoyment also from just looking into the sound port at the engineered braces and other internal structures.

Condition is excellent, just a wonderful guitar.
