Tim Cameron, Luthier in San Francisco

Does any one know what happen with Tim Cameron? He was a luthier in San Francisco in the late 1960s, living near Haight Ashbury. He apprenticed with Warren White.

In would be in his Mid-70s if he is still with us. He was making wonderful guitars. He had developed a form for bracing and tuning the top under drum like tension. He was quite a character having a black belt in the Japanese martial arts (including the use of Samurai swords) and worked with poetic precision. In 1968, I spent a year in his shop-- and learned a great deal about guitar making from him, but also enough to realize that I didn't have the necessary patience require to be a good builder--but nonetheless developed a deep appreciation of good work.

I searched on Spokeo. There is a TC near Redding who is 68 and one near Portland who is 74. If you know a spouse or other relative's name it could help.

Sixty-eight is too young, at least 74.
